Weddings at Green River House

Here at the Green River House our goal is to provide a complete package of services for your Wedding Day. We offer different locations for the ceremonies and receptions based on the size of each event. 

1. Front Lawn Outdoor Ceremony Site
2. Open Air covered Pavilion
3. Gate house, seats 110 guests w/ 30' x 60' wooden floor indoors
4. Tea Room, seats 25 guests  in the Main House

• For weddings and receptions there are 2 locations chosen.

 (Example; outside wedding with an indoors reception.)

•  Each area is fully setup and outfitted with items for a complete service for your special day. You may then choose to upscale any of the locations. For example; you may decide to bring in live floral pieces  or special favors for your guest to take home with them.

• The supplied items and decorations for the ceremony are as follows:  Poly folding chairs are provided and are set up and cleaned up.

• Artificial floral topper for the top of columns at ceremony site

• Two plant stands with two live ferns or plants. (Additional items such as register stands, unity candle holders, table top portrait easel, and/or additional tables for memorial tables may be provided as well.) 

•  A wedding director is also included. Assisting the night before at the rehearsal and then the wedding day. They provide assistance to you with any questions you may have or just to keeps things moving smoothly.

• We also supply sound system and DJ to play prerecorded music  the day of the wedding for the ceremony only. The ceremony music is started approximately 30 minutes before the service. You may hire this DJ to also serve as you DJ for reception, but this service is not provided in pricing and you are not required to use our DJ at reception.

• Changing areas are provided for both the bride and the groom with their attendants.

• Reception area includes: all tables and chairs, white table covers and white overlays, coordinated centerpieces. A variety of choices are available. (Example, wooden lanterns, floating candles etc.) Please note; no live floral items are included in our pricing. Wedding Fees are based on the amount of guests you are planning to attend. This count does not include your bridal party. The final count for the wedding fee is figured the week of your wedding. This provides enough time to receive your RSVPs.  Wedding Fees do not include food items or cakes.
